The Spring Market has officially "SPRUNG!" and as the word spreads that prices have stopped falling and interest rates are holding, we are seeing overall confidence return with both Buyers and Sellers. We experienced record-low sales activity in the market in December and January however, it seems we are heading into a very healthy market with more inventory coming and more frothy sales activity. We are starting to see multiple offers on well-priced homes, while many listings are still priced too high with Sellers hoping for last year's pricing. There are still many price reductions on the board daily as we continue to experience a correction in Seller expectations. 

The current market brings less risk for both Buyers and Sellers, as due diligence conditions are the norm and Buyers are not rushed to make impulsive decisions. We are anticipating interest rates to start coming down in the third quarter and the market to offer more normal, seasonal trends by the end of the year. Emily prides herself in going above and beyond for her clients. While cooking may not be her strong suit, Emily’s sweet tooth and love of a well made dessert means she gives some of the best bakery recommendations in the region!
